AGIC LEADERS

​Since salvation in 1982, Hemanth Kumar Amara has devotedly prepared for ministry and pastoral care. In 1987 he did his bachelor’s in commerce from Osmania University. 

Pastor Hemanth Kumar Amara and his friends started Friends of Jesus Ministries in Hyderabad in the year 1990, which impacted 100’s of youth and heathen from every walk of life. God began a great Revival, and many gave their lives in total surrender to our Lord Jesus. They committed themselves to start serving the Lord as full time ministers and established their own churches and ministries. Glory to God!
Pastor Hemanth Kumar Amara studied discipleship at the International Outreach Centre India In 1987 and received his Bachelor of Theology degree from the  Theological Seminary and Ministries in Hyderabad. He further pursued his Masters in Divinity in the year 2001 from Theological Seminary and Ministries. As soon as he received his master’s in divinity and got ordained, he started working at local Fellowships as Praise and Worship Lead, Pastor, and Outreach Leader, with the heart of a Servant, and operating in the gifts of The Holy Spirit. 
Additionally, he has a wide range of ministerial experiences that include personal evangelism, Church Planting, Discipling, Tract Distribution, Street Preaching, Youth Ministry, Counseling couples and individuals, Hospital ministry and Prison visitation as well as conducting pastoral conferences. 
He is married to a beautiful Women of God Elizabeth Amara, who equally has vision and a heart for saving souls for Christ. Elizabeth is currently doing her master’s in theology at Maryland Bible College and Seminary. I’m blessed with three beautiful children, two daughters and a son.
Currently,  Pastor Hemanth Kumar Amara is the CEO and the Founder of Amazing God International Church (AGIC), Olney Maryland & Amazing God International Ministries (AGIM) . He has about ten churches and 15 pastors under our banner in India. Also, AGIC, Amazing God International Church in Olney, Maryland since 2022.
